Notice is given that the Board of Commissioners is taking comments from the public for a period of 5 days from April 10th, 2024 concerning the advisability of serving as a subapplicant in support of Show Me Christian County and its application for a development grant from the Missouri Department of Economic Development for the improvement of North 18th Street. A private developer will match the grant if issued by the Department. The District will not assume any contractual or administrative liability if it submits its application as a subapplicant. If the Board of Commissioners deems the submission well advised, it may enact a Resolution on or after April 15th, 2024 to accomplish this purpose. The application would be submitted without further public discussion and vote.
